I have spent many years working professionally in the industry before bringing all my experiences to the educational field. I have developed a curriculum and teaching methodologies which focuses on practical application of the subject. This ensures that students can immediately put their newly-learned skills to use upon completion of the course.

"The heart of education is the education of the heart"

Education is the key to the heart’s cultivation. William Ralph Inge who coined these words, “the aim of education is the knowledge not of facts but of values”, so I believe that the ultimate purpose of education is not just limited to achieve strong results, but also to instil good and upright values in everyone’s mind. This world needs more individuals with a strong moral compass to navigate through life and what that really matters.

I have been teaching the Cambridge International AS and A Level Biology for 11 years and still counting. Over the course of my teaching, I have been blessed and honoured to meet so many students, from all various backgrounds and cultures. Therefore, it’s a constant challenge to deliver the knowledge in one method or one style because the fact is there is no one size that can fit all.

Despite all the challenges and with the 11 years of experience in teaching and learning, I believe that logical thinking and problem-solving skills are what all students need, to see A Levels through to completion. In delivering the content, I strive to approach the subject from the practical aspect, such as involving a lot of discussion using past-year exam questions and also to focus into the techniques of answering the questions as well. Understanding the subject matter will develop the interest in the studies and the interest will develop a positive attitude in the learning environment. I am passionate towards what my students get out of every lesson and it is my goal to guide them towards success.
